After an easy walk about 15 minutes passing some very nice boulders, and rounding a gentle bend in the old road Alberton Rock appears 50 feet tall in height. Alberton Rock is an excellent place to take beginners climbing offering many easy to intermediate climbs. To the right of the crags main feature a large 6-foot roof, there are several routes in the 5.2 to 5.7 range climbing through horizontal ledges.
